Looking after you once you’ve moved in

At Tulloch Homes, our customer care programme continues even after we’ve handed over your keys. Here’s what you can expect.

A final check of your property will be carried out on the day of entry and any outstanding items will be recorded on the handover form, which once signed, will be forwarded to the Customer Care Department. Your copy of the handover agreement will be inserted into the relevant appendix of your Homebuyers’ Guide for safekeeping.

The utility meters will also be read at this time and Tulloch Homes will then notify the utility companies of the change of ownership. We strongly advise you to contact your local utility companies separately with meter readings and serial numbers taken on completion. These can be found on the handover agreement. This will ensure that your accounts are set up correctly.

After entry

We will contact you after you have taken possession of your new home to ensure that any outstanding items recorded on the handover agreement have been attended to and that there are no further matters requiring remedial work.

Developer’s Warranty Period

For a period of 2 years after legal completion, Tulloch Homes will rectify items that arise in line with the NHBC ‘Guide to your New Home’ booklet. From the end of the 2 year period until the tenth anniversary of registration, your home remains covered by the NHBC Buildmark Warranty against structural defects which threaten the integrity of the property.
