Bus: Stagecoach runs a regular bus service to and from Inverness City Centre. Buses from Inverness Bus Station run to destinations further afield in Scotland and England.

Attractions and areas of interest in the Inverness area include Fort George, a working fort in Ardersier, Culloden Battlefield, the world famous Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle in Drumnadrochit, Inverness Castle, Clava Cairns, Dolphin Cruises on the Moray Firth, St Andrew’s Cathedral, Culloden Moor, Cawdor Castle, The River Ness and Islands and the Caledonian Canal.

Glen Ord Distillery in Muir of Ord and the Black Isle Brewery in Munlochy are two attractions based in the Black Isle. Both are open for visitors to tour.

Dolphin watching is popular at nearby North Kessock and at Chanonry Point, Fortrose.

Shopping

Inshes Retail Park, a short distance from Parks View, features a Tesco superstore, garden centre, stores including Matalan, Deichmann Shoes, Dunelm and Hobby Craft.
