Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Quarter-Final Draw

This afternoon the drawn for the Quarter-Final of the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup took place at Inverness Castle. 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the Albert Smith Medal first being awarded and to celebrate this landmark Victor and Rena Smith were in attendance to draw the balls.

The draw is as follows:

  • Kinlochshiel vs Oban Celtic
  • Oban Camanachd vs Skye or Lovat
  • Beauly vs Kyles
  • Kingussie vs Kilmallie

Kingussie will face Kilmallie who overcame Bute in the last round while Oban Celtic travel to Kinlochshiel. Elsewhere, Oban Camanachd will meet Skye or Lovat and Beauly welcome Kyles Athletic to Braeview.

This year represents the 125th anniversary of our sport’s “blue riband” trophy the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup and the competition is shaping up to be as exciting as ever. The support that Tulloch Homes have provided the Camanachd Association with over the past few years has been nothing short of incredible and our thanks go to them for that. I wish the best of luck to all teams in the next round as edge ever closer to that historic day on 18th September.

Everyone in the family is very proud of the fact that the medal continues to be so important to this day. We know that on Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final day everyone gives 100% so to be that player who has shone brighter than everyone us on such a big occasion mean is no mean feat . You need only look at the list of past winners to see just how many great players have worn the medal over the years.
