Tulloch Homes welcomes Camanachd Cup Semi-Final Draw at Drummondhill, Inverness

As proud sponsors of the Camanachd Cup, we were delighted to welcome the semi-final cup draw to the site of our latest development at Drummondhill in Inverness earlier today, Monday 9th July.

Tulloch Homes Chief Executive George Fraser joined Scottish singer Julie Fowlis and Camanachd Association’s President Keith Loades for the draw.

The semi-final draw results are –

  • Kinlochshiel or Newtonmore v Kilmallie
  • Lovat v Kingussie

The draw was held at our latest site at Drummondhill, which occupies an extremely sought after peaceful location off Stratherrick Road in the Lochardil area of Inverness.

Tulloch Homes will divide the historic mansion in to six stylish apartments, while in the extensive grounds there will be six executive homes, six mews houses, six town houses and 12 apartments.

Our own Chief Executive George Fraser, who has won eight Camanachd Cup winner medals with Newtonmore, spoke of his delight in welcoming the draw to the site.

He said, "It's an exciting draw featuring quality teams and it sets the stage for two fascinating semi-final ties to decide who plays on the big occasion at Oban in September.

"We're very keen on the development of the game and thus are pleased to welcome local shinty children to participate in the draw event in the grounds of Drummondhill, the historic Inverness mansion which will be the focus of our newest development next year."

Drummondhill was built in 1890 by leading Inverness solicitor William Burns and it was the last of several large villas to be built in the Lochardil area in the second half of the 19th century.

Following recognition from Historic Scotland for our refurbishment of Hedgefield House, Tulloch Homes will use this experience to redevelop the historic Drummondhill mansion and magnificent grounds.

The complete refurbishment of 128-year-old Drummondhill will begin next year. Look out for further information on the development on our website and social media channels.

The winners of these matches will play each other at the Camanachd Cup Final on Saturday 15th September in Oban.
