Tulloch tombola raises over £400

Tulloch Homes has raised over £400 for Muir of Ord Gala funds after hosting a tombola at the event.

Following sponsorship of £2,500 to Saturday’s gala, Tulloch Homes staff boosted the funds by a further £440 by running a popular tombola, with over 200 prizes given away.

Prizes included Black Isle Show tickets, four bottles of Glen Ord Whisky, £15 vouchers for Bad Girl Bakery, mini hampers and sweetie cones.

The proceeds were handed over to gala organiser Alan Fraser following the event.

Maria Wilson, (pictured right) sales consultant for our nearby Broomhill development in the village, was also providing details about the homes available.

Alan said: “It was fantastic to receive the £440 made from the Tulloch Homes tombola at our gala day, with such amazing prizes on offer I’m not surprised at how well it did.

“It was a great boost on top of the £2,500 sponsorship we had already received from Tulloch Homes.

“The gala itself was a great, successful week. We were hit with some unfortunate weather overnight on Friday but we got lucky in the end with a relatively dry afternoon for the main gala day. The Drakes of Hazard Sheepdog display team put on an amazing show for the crowd and the feedback overall for the gala day has been great. We are extremely grateful to Tulloch Homes as one of our main sponsors, without support like this our gala simply couldn’t take place.”

Lorna Cameron, (pictured left), Tulloch Homes’ Human Resources Director, said she was delighted the company supported the event.

She said: “We were delighted to hand over the money raised to Alan. The Muir of Ord Gala is an important event for the community so we are pleased to support it.”
