Newtonmore development shortlisted for property awards

25th August 2025

Tulloch Homes, has been shortlisted for two accolades in the Herald Property Awards.

The recently opened three bedroom detached Heather show home has reached the final stages of the awards within the Best Family Home (small) and Best Show Home categories – the only shortlisted home from the Highlands in these categories.

Located in Newtonmore’s Spey Green development surrounded by the Monadhliath Mountains and the Cairngorms, the Heather is a bright, open and very versatile home. Spanning 1,248sqft, it boasts an open plan kitchen and dining, benefits from a separate utility room, large lounge and three well sized bedrooms.

Upstairs the hall is light and generously spacious – making it a great spot for a home office area. Each bedroom includes built in wardrobes and the primary bedroom features an ensuite.

Spey Green offers home buyers a range of two and three bedroom homes – including the Heather – with prices starting at £235,000 for a two bedroom bungalow. The wider area enjoys stunning views, great rail and road transport links and a variety of local amenities within walking distance.

Kieran Graham, Tulloch Homes Managing Director, added:

“The Heather is a fantastic home. The layout is adaptable for a range of buyers, the large windows enhance the feeling of space and, like all Tulloch Homes, the quality is uncompromised. Plus, it’s in a really great location within a thriving community.

“These shortlists come in a special year for Tulloch as we celebrate our 100 years of building homes. We know how to build a quality family home, with good specification and an unrivalled level of choice and we’re excited this has been acknowledged with these award shortlists.”

The winners are due to be announced at the Herald Property Awards in September.
