Tulloch Homes has once again boosted Muir of Ord Gala funds after raising almost £500 at a tombola at the event on Saturday.
Following sponsorship of £2,500 for Saturday’s gala, Tulloch Homes staff boosted the funds by almost £500 by running our ever popular tombola, with over 200 prizes given away.
Prizes included mini gardening hampers, vouchers for Café Artysans and Bad Girl Bakery, bottles of Glen Ord Whisky, Tulloch Homes gifts including torches and house shaped moneyboxes and sweetie cones.
The proceeds were handed over to gala organisers following the event.
Maria Wilson, sales consultant for our nearby Broomhill development in the village, enjoyed chatting to residents, some of whom she had sold homes to.
Gala organiser Alan Fraser said: “The Muir of Ord Gala day was a great success, the weather stayed onside and the crowds came out to support.
“We had loads of great activities from mini Highland games, Trapeze entertainment, kids’ fairgrounds rides to motorcycle stunts and falconry. All of this was made possible through the support of our main sponsors. As well as being a main sponsor, Tulloch Homes also had an amazing tombola on their stand at the gala day. All proceeds (almost £500) were very kindly donated to the gala funds. A huge thanks to Tulloch Homes and to the fantastic staff who came along to our gala day.”
Lorna Cameron, (pictured left), Tulloch Homes’ Human Resources Director, said she was delighted the company supported the event.
She said: “We were delighted to raise almost £500 for the gala funds. It was such a busy day and it was fantastic to see the community enjoying such a great event.”
