Aviemore has everything we could want

Living in Perth, just an hour and a half from Aviemore, weekend escapes were always part of the routine for Angela and Stephen. When they stumbled across Tulloch Homes' Bynack More development, what began as a casual viewing quickly turned into a permanent weekend retreat.

My husband Stephen and I had always loved Aviemore and spent years visiting regularly for day trips. We’re very outdoorsy people and we love everything from paddle boarding to cycling to hiking with our dog so Aviemore has everything we could want all year round. Rain or shine, there’s always something to do.

One day, we happened to spot the Tulloch Homes development while out for a wander. While we’ve always loved the idea of having our own place up in Aviemore, we weren’t seriously house hunting. Jacqui, the sales consultant, was great from the start. She initially showed us around the houses, which were lovely, they just weren’t what we were looking for. The views from the development are beautiful and from the apartments you’re spoiled with an uninterrupted view right across the Cairngorms and that sealed the deal for us so we just went for it!

We’re there almost every weekend. We finish work on a Friday, jump in the car, and we’re up by the evening. It’s become our happy place, a real separation from normal life without feeling far away - Aviemore gives us that sense of escape.

Jacqui was incredibly helpful. She sorted everything out for us, helped us with local solicitor recommendations, and was always available for updates. Since the flats weren’t finished when we reserved, she kept in touch with the site team to get measurements for blinds and similar and let us visit as often as we wanted.

We got our keys on the 30 May 2025 and moved ourselves in straight away. We made a real effort to furnish the place with second-hand furniture, and since the apartment came with flooring and white goods already included, it was really cost-effective and easy.

The balcony is without a doubt our favourite part and the views are just incredible. There’s a great mix of people here too, and all our neighbours are incredibly friendly. There’s even a shared bike store, which has been ideal for us with all our outdoor gear.
