Under your kitchen sink, you have the shut off valve for your mains water on the right and this tap here on the left is for your outside tap. It’s important when the Winter comes to drain down your outside tap – so you just turn if off like a tap on the inside, and on the outside, you open the tap up and let all of the water out.
