The Loft: Aerial
Your TV aerial will terminate around the loft hatch.
The Loft: Insulation
The loft is well insulated to reduce heat loss with insulation running both ways. This will cover the trusses so if you have to go up the loft, make sure you locate the trusses and only step on the trusses.
The Loft: Temperature
The loft space will also have huge temperature differences due to cold air blowing through it as it’s a well-ventilated area.
This is another reason we advise you not to store anything in it.
We don’t advise you to floor attic space, it will compress the insulation and may affect the ceiling finish below.
