Today, Wednesday September 19th, is Scottish Housing Day and Tulloch Homes is only too delighted to support the event.
Aiming to raise public awareness of the latest housing developments and give people the resources they need to make informed decisions about housing options, Scottish Housing Day is also celebrating 2018 as being the Year of Young People.
Help to Buy is a leading initiative allowing house purchasers to buy with as little as 5% deposit and up to 15% financial assistance from the Scottish Government.
Help to Buy is available on all Tulloch homes up to £200,000 and is open to all home buyers, subject to qualifying criteria.
The scheme is popular with younger buyers, enabling them to take the important first step onto the property ladder.
Amy Nicol recently moved into her Ashie two bedroom ground floor cottage flat at The Parks, Inverness, and it was thanks to the Help to Buy scheme that she was able to purchase her new Tulloch home.
Amy said: “I bought my flat with Help to Buy and it was extremely useful as I would not have been able to afford the flat otherwise. It was a great way to get onto the property market and buy a lovely new build.”
Amy chose The Parks as the location for her home as it was handy for her busy lifestyle.
She explained: “I wanted somewhere that was close to work and good walks for my puppy as well as being close to shops etc. The Parks was ideal as it fitted all of those features.
“I chose the Ashie as my new home because I thought it was a brilliant size for me and my puppy, not too big and not too small. It also felt really modern which was what I wanted.”
Amy added: “The service from Tullochs and the Parks sales consultant Susan Cumming was great, they were very helpful and informative in the buying process and have helped with any of my issues since. I would recommend Tullochs and the Parks to any new home buyers.”
