The first phase Tulloch Homes’ new Woodroffe Grange development at Knockomie, Forres, is a sellout – with high demand from local buyers.
The first 15 homes were only launched for sale in November, selling out within weeks. Following the high demand, an additional seven homes are planned to be released ahead of schedule.
Delivered by a team headed up by multiple award-winning Site Manager, Ali Paul, once complete, Woodroffe Grange will include 84 private and 28 affordable homes along with a network of footpaths and cycle routes, a playpark with landscaped open space.
Jo McLaren, Tulloch Homes Sales and Marketing Director, said: ”It’s a brilliant beginning for Woodroffe Grange in Forres, and local enquiries have certainly kept us busy. Most of the buyers so far are from in and around Forres and these have included first time buyers, downsizers and upsizers.
“Woodroffe Grange is a particularly appealing setting, with a village green and woodland backdrop. All within close proximity to local schools, shops, transport links to neighbouring towns and cities and the infamous Grant Park.
“We’ve committed to the council that some 37 per cent of the 7.6 hectare site will form publicly accessible green space, almost double the 20 per cent laid down by planning policy. Native woodland areas will be created with extensive planting of trees, shrubs, hedges and wildflowers to encourage biodiversity.”
Jo added: “We’ll be handing over the first homes here in April, closely followed by the opening of our Lochy show home, a three bedroom detached bungalow with garage. The main road through Woodroffe Grange will be fully completed and surfaced by the end of the month.”
